About Me
My name is Layla. My background is rooted in physical performance as an elite athlete, Cirque du Soleil performer and choreographer. I have always held a deep curiosity about the depth of the human experience and for many years, that curiosity was explored through movement, training, and global adventure. Over time, it has become my profound respect for the inner journey that has truly transformed both my life and my work.
My professional path began with mentoring and training individuals in fitness, and I continue to support those seeking to improve their physical health and vitality. However, as my own life has evolved, so has my focus. I have become increasingly passionate about guiding others to look inward and to explore their emotional patterns, mental narratives, and physical pain that often go unaddressed.
My approach now integrates both physical tools to support and strengthen the body, and internal tools that help individuals understand their thoughts, emotions, trauma, and self-limiting beliefs. I believe sustainable well-being emerges from this balanced integration of body and mind, movement and stillness, outer strength and inner awareness.
My work is deeply shaped by my own healing journey. After contracting COVID-19, I experienced a severe allergic reaction to a steroid medication that led to a debilitating nervous system malfunction. For many years, I endured extreme insomnia and a cascade of mysterious symptoms that shook me to my core. Even after the acute phase passed, I faced prolonged anxiety and post-traumatic symptoms forcing me to go even deeper into my own inner work and healing process.
Emerging from this period of intense physical, emotional, and mental challenge profoundly reshaped my understanding of resilience. It taught me the necessity of surrender - not as defeat, but as a doorway to deeper healing. I had to let go of who I thought I was, along with the ways I had always coped, performed, and pushed through. In doing so, I discovered a quieter, more receptive strength rooted in presence, compassion, and trust.
This experience opened me to entirely new ways of being. I began to unravel long-held patterns and survival mechanisms that no longer served me, allowing space for more authenticity, softness, and self-awareness. I learned that true healing requires not only effort, but also the willingness to slow down, listen deeply, and allow change to unfold from within.
I now carry a deep appreciation for the body’s innate capacity to heal, as well as a renewed sense of purpose in supporting others through their own inner and outer transformations. My path has taught me that pain, when met with courage and care, can become a powerful catalyst for awakening.
Drawing from years of experience, study, and personal transformation, I offer a compassionate and holistic approach to growth honoring both the external journey of physical empowerment and behavioral changes, and the internal journey of emotional and spiritual healing. It is my mission to help others reconnect with themselves, find their strength, and move toward a more balanced, authentic, and inspired life.
